Hello and welcome to my Blog!

EDLI635 Theory and Practice of Literacy Instruction: Hello! I’m Shaindy Gold and welcome to my blog! I taught in elementary school for two years and understand the importance of teaching using the right skills. Therefore, I joined the program in Early Childhood Education at NYIT. As a Mom of an adorable and very active one-year-old girlie, I enjoy to play with my daughter and always try to teach her new things. I’m very passionate about reading and writing as I enjoy doing both in my free time and teaching the language arts has always been my favorite. “Balance, peace, and joy are the fruit of a successful life. It starts with recognizing your talents and finding ways to serve others by using them.” I love this quote and I try to live my life by it. Teaching children is definitely one of my talents and educating the future is my calling. I hope to master the art as a Mom and as a teacher!
